Your garden is inspiring Neal. Better than the ones I look at in the gardening magazines. Flower, bulb and seed companies should use your home to sell their products and inspire people to create a garden oasis. Thank you for sharing the pictures. smiles

Sherry, I kept thinking I had a pic of purple Irises against the house, and just found it! I promise next years pics won't be so weedy- I've been much more conscientious about it lately

Wow Neal your garden is amazing! As I'm pretty new to irises, I'll let the more seasoned vets suggest irises for your yard. As I would suggest all of them.... because I love all of them.

I want to start adding more bulbs in my garden next season. I'm looking at daffodils, any and all...anything else I have to make sure the critters don't eat them.

Weeds Neal? What weeds? All I see are beautiful blooms...

Thanks everybody! Yep, the house is lavender with purple trim...you know, to match the most Iris varieties...LOL! There is one historic in particular that has standards that match the siding and falls that match the trim- I get so happy when I see that

Has anyone grown a Sutton iris called "Strawberry Frosting"? I love the form and subtle coloring.
I'm also attracted to his Australian Rose. Must have these two.

Strawberry Frosting was my favorite last year! It's my avatar. I reeeealy like Australian Rose, Duplication, and Blondie's Blush...all from Sutton. Looks like I need to place an order with him this year!
