I'm beginning to believe that a watched iris doesn't grow.
I walk my beds every morning and every night (I have to repair daily squirrel damage
). I swear they weren't showing any signs of new growth. So over the last few days I didn't really have much time, but to quickly walk through the beds and look for dug up irises. Well today I had some more time on my hands and noticed some irises went crazy and sent out several increases. Yippie!
There are even two of them with bloom stalks! Yippie again!
These are irises I planted last year and are now settled in and happy. A few of them are still ho-hum on growing. So I may relocate those slow pokes this Summer.
Anyway, all my irises (except the NoIDs) are all 1, or 2 years old too. I can't wait to be able to corrupt...err enable someone!
