He lives in the Saint Joseph area of Missouri. His iris "Put Upon" was introduced by Kelly Norris's Rainbow Iris farm in Iowa.

I am sure that Rick & Roger know more about him. Our database says he has introduced 22 cultivars over like the last 20 years.

Throwing this one in here. Lori sent me some, hoping to have first bloom come Spring. Thought this photograph of it was wonderful.

I have had Tantara for two years.... it has not bloomed for me so far. It had better get its act together or it goes in a pot. I wonder if I go out and show it the pot it will reside in if it fails to bloom this year.....

Might work, Bonnie. Lori said it took a couple of years to settle in for her, but that she really likes it now.

I cant tell from the photo but it seems that Star Appeal may be one of the rarer pinks that does not have a peach or yellow beard. Lovely choice, Jan. I am paring down my lists too.

Feudalism hasn't been as colorful in my garden. The standards come across looking kind of pinky-tan..
