Million Pollinator Garden Challenge
What do you mean by 'cut the top off'?

Not sure but I thought I saw some in the backyard last week. Will have to double check because I don't think it usually starts to appear this early. I definitely have dandelions. Hoping the birds might eat them.

I doubt that you need to coddle it; it is a tough plant - Also shade and drought tolerant.

That's what I love about it - it's shade and drought tolerant. It also is tolerant of being walked on.

Doesn't seem like it gets tall enough to cut it down a couple inches. Maybe because I walk around on it.

Here it only grows "tall" if it has something to lean/climb on. It likes to creep up inside my shrub rose bushes.

I saw it first at a fellow gardener's house (was ID here) and then saw plants at LBJ wildflower center. Looking for seeds.
