Well Tom, Project Runway is a so-so television "reality" show. The actual Designer shows in Europe and their
runways were what I had in mind.

Anyway, it's a moot point since in the Facebook comments section where that lovely seedling is showing
someone said that she'd been allowed to name it.

You're very smart not to, Tom! We've been talking about getting rid of the tv.
It's hard to when members of your family work in that field.

...but there was a really great 3 hour doc on "The Nile" last night. TV worth watching...once in a while.

I thought the rule with Tutu's was tights. Of course what you wear under the tights is optional.

I'd buy going Commando...but I'm a little weird.

Jan, I'm anything but a clothes horse, but I like Project Runway.. Making things to wear with fabric is just another artistic expression. I enjoy seeing the process. Some years have been better than others... But I have to say that I didn't watch t for a couple of years, and it was the most productive/creative time I can remember.

Well, if you take the $1200./ year for cable and apply it to irises, you can get a lot of them, and have the time to care for them while your not sitting around watching the darn thing. nodding

I did not get rid of my T.V. Jan, I just change the way I use it. I do not watch tv programming or programs and have not for four years. However, the t.v. is great for any plant or garden videos, slide shows, holiday videos and family videos. My T.V. does get used quite a bit and I don't miss the junk that I used to watch at all.

Our television is on for at least 15 hours a day. Regular programming in the morning, special interest stuff the rest of the day. I use TV time to be on my laptop, or read. Sort of tune out the TV. Shrug!

That's about the way it is here, MaryAnn. News in the morning (plus a few "cowboy" shows Sticking tongue out ), and at noon, and again in the evening (lots of "news'.......I guess I like being depressed Crying ), and at night a few dramas, and mostly PBS....but while this is going on, Rita is either knitting, or reading, and I have the laptop out, or I'm reading. When the weather is" fit", we spend most of the day working outside, though

Thanks way back for the pic of Berry Scary. It is lighter than I anticipated.

As for the commando tutu, in cold weather that too could be berry scary. Hilarious! Hilarious!

I could not get rid of my TV. At least not while there are Blue Devils basketball games and Doctor Who. And Michigan football if they ever get good again.

Leslie, you need to convert to a Michigan State fan. Sparty isn't little brother anymore.

Ken - we(Duke) ate Sparty for dinner last night in basketball. Really respect Izzo and his team though. Not sure I can take the MSU step. Raised a Wolverine, went to school there, uh no, not going to happen. Hilarious!

My brother married into a whole family of rabid Packer backers. It leads to much rivalry and kidding since he is a Lions boy.

Hurray! Congrats to the commando force!

And Greg, I really really do not miss Maryland. Their being in the Big Ten is odd placement though. I am not even going to start on UNC!
