Anybody know the name of this uncaptioned air plant??

I'm not a bromeliad expert at all, but it looks like a regular Tillandsia ionantha.....

No clue what the tillandsia on the left is.

Could you give us a link? Where did you find the photo?

There are a few in the database that get that red coloration but don't seem to have that tight upright habit:
Air Plant (Tillandsia brachycaulos 'Miniata')
Air Plant (Tillandsia 'Sparkler')
Southern needleleaf (Tillandsia setacea)

What I'd need to ask the blogger is the name and email address of the nursery where she took the picture.
And I'd have to join something I don't want to join just to ask the question.

Greene, I enjoy Pinterest, but this frustration comes up often. SOMEtimes with uncredited paintings, photos, but most often with plants.
I find them on Pinterest, click the picture to link to where the picture came from and NO INFO.

And DAMN IT I just noticed I misspelled "damn"!!!

Look at the comment section in the blog to find the name of the nursery; it's there.

And since the blog has the .au in the url, it's in Australia as is the nursery. Hopefully you can find something that looks close to it locally.

I'm hoping for the botanical name so I can hunt.

When I lived in the Los Angeles area, we frequent this nursery..they specialize in tillandsias and other bromeliads.

Browse through and maybe you can find it. For me, I have to really see the plants, sometimes tilly's have certain grainy markings on the underside of the leaves or the leaf color is more grayish than green, which is not caught accurately on photos.
