Greg - Should have enough Parisian Dawn to send you next year.

I love Volcanic Glow! So many of his are fabulous though.

It would be hard to have a collection of irises and not have some of Keith Keppel's. Long before I even paid any attention to hybridizers, I had several of his irises. I wonder if he ever reads these posts? If so it must really do his heart good to see how much joy he brings to all of us collectors, and to know that we all are anxious to see the new ones he will bring out this spring. Smiling

When Rivulet blooms, Pam, post the photos here. I'll bet it is a really great blue iris.

It finally warmed up today we hit the 40's and was finally able to get the roses covered with mulch it warmed up just enough to melt the ice out of the bags so I could get it down did not want a repeat of last year, the past couple weeks has been miserable here amazing how fast the cold came on was expecting a gradual downward slide not the deep freeze we have had lately. I suppose it could be worse couldn't imagine 8 ft of snow or whatever they got on the east coast :blinking:

I got rained out this afternoon so came in and started looking over Kieth's catalog from last year and thought I would share some pictures of some of his seedlings he talked about in the catalog as potential's. This 1st group is from the cross of Silk Road X Roaring Twenties 06-77 it was my personal favorite in his garden was pretty much awestruck on them, for those who didn't get the catalog he wrote in it that this cross was his best and most productive in 60 years and we all know he has produced some amazing plants just by reading our lists from above so that goes to show just how good these really are. I don't have pictures of them all but these 6 were the ones that caught my attention with my favorite of the group being (F) but would Love to have any of them. They are all different and have a beautiful blend of colors and patterns perfect form and branching loaded with ruffles they are all something to get excited about. Hope to see them all get a name someday.

I am curious if you had to pick 1 which one is your favorite of these.

06-77-W makes me happy to look at it. Looks like it would be a showstopper in a garden setting.
I like yellow and blue Iris, but these two look much more complex. The colors are interesting, but feel muddy to me.
The reverse on 06-77D fascinates me.

I would say F or W. I don't care for the yellow--blue combination, no matter how good the rest of the plant.

They are all beauties! To choose just one, I'm torn between W and DD....

I love double D's, but in this case, I'm slightly more drawn to W.

I'd pick D, F, and DD for sure, and W is nice too. Oh my, I'd maybe want more if I saw them in bloom. Sticking tongue out
