I like the pink one too. So many pink iris have such bright beards that it makes the flower color seem pale. The beard on this iris seems to match or enhance the flower color. I think a lovely pink with a white beard would be nice and I know there are some out there. With so many variations the hybridizers are making it will not be long until we can go to the database and put in iris color, beard color, type of standards and falls and height of plant and then order the iris to fit the bill.

For me, in the last group it is "G". It looks like two different flowers in one. I do like both the others, but I am not sure about them. "C" has alot of veining in the standards which may or may not detract from it. I do think it has a place and should be considered for introduction (but of the three, this would be my least favorite). I VERY much like the "crisp" white standards on "E". There are many cultivars that sort of look like this which may cause Keith to not introduce this one. However, I think the edges of the standards stand out more than anything I have seen out there. I would introduce "E" & "G" and use "C" to try and breed a better flower.
with the group G is way different than anything else I have seen anywhere else and hope it becomes available so we all get to have some of it at home in the future, I found a couple other pictures of C & E to share for another look at them the picture of C really shows all of the interesting colors in it would be fun to work with that one and E has excellent branching and is loaded with buds from the picture looks like it really glows in the sunlight.
I want to show some of the kids from the 06-77 cross next after drooling over these in his garden I was curious what kind of parents they would be and what the kids looked like so I tried to pay attention to anything labeled with 06-77. Here were the favorites a couple of these were 1st year blooms so still to early to know how they will grow or anything else other than the color of the flower but these were awesome especially the 1st one it really stood out amongst the others.
OMG! some really Drool worthy pictures I'd say they score a 10 on Robsters drool scale for sure! First and third one are wonderful, the 4th one sure has interesting colors, not as ruffly but interesting for sure.

The first one is a beauty. It is a happy iris with nothing to hide. Its beard being the same color as the falls makes the standards more outstanding.... lovely contrast and beautifully soft colors. The next to last one does the opposite with the beard picking up the standards color and intensifying it. Cant tell by the picture but the shoulders may have some of the pink tones also.
The last one is a beauty too. In the shadows its beard looks black and in the light the dark beard has tones from the standards giving it a brass/brown look and sets off the dark color streak running from the beards down the falls. A bit of drama from that one. All have great form and in person it would be very hard to choose only one.

I'm likin' the third one. The first one is pretty -- but I don't like open standards. I like the richer colors on #3, and the classic form of the standards.
