AYankeeCat here - aka Memory (the weed eater). LOL! I am a California native moved to Connecticut about 13 years ago. I have a small city lot in Bridgeport and I try to grow as many edibles as possible around the house and garage sharing the lot. I like the unusual so there are paw-paws, aronia, medlar, gooseberry, purslane, lambs quarters, celeriac, asian pears, a tea camellia and a stubborn Fuyu persimmon in my yard along with "all the usual suspects".

My elderly neighbor allows me free access to his yard so I grow vegetables in his back yard, too. I also tend his roses and mow the lawns and move my reject ornamentals into his yard. Our favorite thing to grow is pumpkins for the neighborhood kids. I swear they start asking in July if the pumpkins are ready!

I'm a big-time cat lover and have a few - one being a real Maine Coon cat - my Yankee Cat.I don't get to post much during the school year because I work a couple nights a week teaching in addition to my regular job. If anyone needs help with their Excel spreadsheets - I'm your goto!

Peace and Plenty,
Memory

Love all you supposedly computer challenged folk. Trucking right along, posting here, there and everywhere. Some of us were fortunate to become computer literate at work. We had no choice and a whole array of resources to teach us.

Is it me or is the font getting smaller on these forums? This is much to much eye strain for me.

Font size is readily changeable. One quick way is as follows:

Press and HOLD DOWN the Control (Ctrl) key, then scroll your mouse wheel away from you. This will enlarge the text.
Scrolling the mouse wheel toward you will reduce the text.

Another way if you have Firefox:
Click VIEW (upper left next to Edit), select ZOOM, then ZOOM IN or ZOOM TEXT ONLY and then ZOOM IN.

I did it with clicking on View. I do not know how that happened but with my one eye it is too much of a strain. I did notice you need to adjust the font on each forum. I thought if I did it with my view it would stay that way. Guess not.

Have a nice day you all. The heat is really nasty but I keep thinking how snowed in I was this past winter and somehow it all seems a bit less nasty. Rolling my eyes.

JB, It should stay the same while navigating anywhere within that tab. All forums, etc.

I increased text (and everything else) size for my mother, but that was a while ago. I'll look into it.

I thought I replied to you, Evan, I said that when I came back on today, it had stayed the same larger font. Very nice now. I wonder where the other post went? I guess I am still learning how to get around here. Thank you for being so considerate.

Thank you Jen but I getter better service from Firefox. IE kept knocking me off and I got tired of that so I switched to Firefox. Love it.

Here are a couple of the Lucky Horse Shoes that will be on sale this weekend at the Horse Park of New Jersey Dressage Show. All proceeds from the sale of these shoes go to the Horse Park. If you are not familiar with the Horse Park of New Jersey, Inc. you may want to check out their website www.horseparkofnewjersey.com

If I mentioned this on this forum before, I apologize, we are trying to get as much visibility as possible since money is soooooooooo tight. Smiling
