wow kathy that has really spread i remember it was not that big when i was there last year! do you trim it all all? the one i have is trimmed hard it was actually how i found the babies or i would have never known. i do like the smell - hoping all the rain we've had did not kill off the blooms.

Beautiful Kathy! How long ago did you plant it to get like that? I put 2 small piece on the dogs fence 2 years ago and I don't have it coverd by any means.
I too have to say thank you Bill, I love it it's the only one I have that is big enough to bloom besides "Carmen", besides they look good together. :)
Have no fear Celeste! Mine is 3-4 years old and growing! I always remember how I fretted over it at first. There are at least 2 babies (one on each side of the stone wall). But I always fret over clematis at first. Seems they'll never get big and then they are there for life!
