To funny Neal. I'm not sure why that was posted. We are having fun and my comment was definitely made that way. I took no offense to it Smiling

I am not used to this brutal cold. It was 2 degrees on the bank billboard 1/3 the way to work. Me thinks it might have been ZERO when I left the house. WAY too cold. Fortunetly I have 4 inches of snow that fell two days ago; so my irises are safely tucked away from it.

It has finally made it up to 5* here, but we have no snow cover. Thankfully Irises are tough!

3° & no snow cover here either. Pine needles are protecting our historic dwarf irises bought last year.

13 degrees here with wind chill down to 7. Poor babies are exposed, but we have had sooooo much rain lately that I am afraid cover would cause rot issues.

Never though you needed to chill Greg. You are a pretty relaxed guy between fits of iris euphoria! (wink!) Hilarious!

Well, I'm really chilled! We had minus 12 when I got up, then it dropped a bit before sunrise, now it's almost up to 0, and there's wind. Not a pretty thing I thought I'd never get done feeding the horses, I had to come in every few minutes to find my fingers and toes. The schools are all closed again today. I'm making a pot of chili, that should keep me warm. Gotta make a pan of corn bread next. Sticking tongue out

Chili and corn bread...my favorite!! That ought to help with the cold! I'm glad the horses are OK with it...that is darn cold!

Iris Euphoria...I like it too! It perfectly describes the feeling you get after you get an iris fix! Hilarious! But I can stop anytime....really! Rolling on the floor laughing
