OK we just found out where the Schreiner's Surplus goes every year I thought it was being shipped overseas but it looks like it's going to Barbara's House in California Awesome Collection !!!
No attack dogs! We have three Labs that would that might beat you with their wagging tails though. One cat that thinks she's a dog (she fetches too). If you come at night the deer might attack depending on the season... (But that could be another story). At the moment it would be real easy to carry off the iris because a lot of them are still in pots! I'm crazy for even looking to buy more until I get these planted and I have been on the computer most of the day looking at Blue J, 'Mid America, Napa, and Country Delight Iris.
But thanks for the laughs
Someday when I retire I might like to sell some to support the habit!
And yes I do have Habit
Habit
(Habit is a Paul Black iris)

The first step is admitting it, unfortunately, we have quite a few resident enablers so I am afraid you won't find anything other than encouragement here.
I have been shopping all day too, picked up 3 arilbreds from Blue J and have a list to send to Superstition for prices. Trying hard not to look anywhere else.
I have been shopping off and on for 4 days now. The problem is, when I go to a site to look up the irises on my list I find a whole bunch of new ones I like that I need to add to the list too! I'm going to have to pace myself. I like that Superstition (and probably other sellers too) will let you order some and then add more later. I'm looking at it as a sort of 'iris savings account'. I'll order a few and pay for them, then when I can I'll order some more, and then some more, etc. ....until it's too late and I have no more money!!!
Seriously, I'm having trouble keeping up with some of you who already have orders in!
Welcome Mary Stella! You probably have the biggest challenge in growing irises of all of us. I will be interested to hear from you about your process of experimentation and the results!
Wow Barbara...I'm with Sue! I don't have a truck...but I have a nice big trailer Sue...want some help?
If you keep this up (buying at this pace) we will have to come up with a new title just for you! I'm glad to have you here on the iris forum...for purely selfish reasons...I want to see your pictures!!!! ...and you are not alone in having way too many irises in pots. DH thinks I'm crazy looking to order more with so many in pots taking over our pool deck! He just doesn't get it!
Yes, My thinking was the sooner you buy them.... the faster they increase... And the faster they become clumps, then I can share with my fellow ATP'ers.
Too funny Sue and Marilyn.... Makes me want to get some more planted.
Mary Stella!
