My Pachyveria 'Blue Pearl' has decided it likes to lean more...maybe getting too top heavy or maybe wanted more direct light than it can get in its current location.
I thought at first the trunk is getting mushy, but it is still nice and firm, so for now will leave it alone. I am reassured it is doing well with the new flower stalk at the tip and new rosettes along the stem.
Echeveria elegans 'Grey Red', on the other hand continues to grow upright, and has formed new rosettes along the stem and has been blooming too:
Echeveria elegans 'Blue' had a rough winter, even though it was drier this year, it really hates being cold. Started to lean and stem got mushy. I have taken cuttings early on, and the remaining ones continued turning mushy at the stem. I just allowed that part to dry up, and new roots are now forming at the edge of the healed part of the stem.
Rosette cuttings are doing great too in another container.
Echeveria 'Sleepy' ..I wonder if this is called sleepy just because it tends to lean heavily, as it tries to get more sun.
I love that it actively makes offsets at the base and along the stem, as it makes its bloomstalks at the tip.
