Nothing blooming but paper white narcissus (indoors) and my neighbors camellia, I need one of those.
I do have lettuce and rutabagas doing just fine with this mild weather. I planted lots of rutabaga late but I think it will be ready for harvest in a week or so. And definitely for Christmas dinner. My oldest daughter will be home then and I think she enjoys pulling the huge tuber out of the ground. I have a picture of her last year struggling to get it out then posing holding it triumphantly up in the air. At dinner she took extra helpings, clearly because she felt that special connection you get to food you've harvested with your own hands.

We still have a lot of Gaillardia in bloom, along with many snapdragons, a few roses, a stunning red salvia, diascia, and one lonesome hosta trying to bloom thought it's lost all but two leaves.

@jvdubb Possibly Purple Exosion?

Edited to add: Tag just said Veronica and the Purple Explosion was in another spot so I am clueless as to which variety of Veronica it is.

Stock is Matthiola incana, Vintage Mix

I have green grass and plants starting to regrow like they would in the spring. I almost expect to see flowers, and might have if I hadn't cut everything down. And it's nearly Christmas. In Minnesota. This is just plain weird.

I'd like to thank everybody here that allowed me to make entries into Dave's 'Contest: Associate Forum Images with Plants'. I roughly calculated there are about 1800 separate entries in this forum. Each entry often carried multiple plants. Total plants reviewed would be astronomical for this one forum; it took a couple of days to accomplish this task. My knowledge of perennials has increased significantly; as has my acorn stash.
Again, thanks.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.

My primroses are still blooming.
I am driving myself nuts trying to get an order ready for Hallsons.
Ferns and hostas for a "in progress" spot.
I am so jazzed about our front entrance. The patio is big enough for several planters. Whooopppeeee.

Here is a before and now pix

Thumb of 2015-12-18/ge1836/7a405a

I will add four planters 2 that measure 18 inches and 2 lower squares measuring 12 inches
The large planters will go at the left in front of the Bloodgood JM.

Thumb of 2015-12-18/ge1836/fb885a

Smaller planters location to be later determined.

Jo Ann, the change to your front entrance is beautiful, and I'm looking forward to seeing your plant combos next year.

We've had several nights of hard frost here in GA, but the camellias are still going strong.

They are beautiful Annette. It's pretty bleak and dreary here. Everything is brown...
