Wow, Mike. If that is Kwanso, it looks even better than I remember.

Kansas Kitten has such nice saturation of color, it draws one to it.

height 20in., bloom 5.5in., season M, Dormant, Diploid, Rose and cream bicolor with cream throat. (sdlg × Beautiful Lady) Karen Sue (Roberts, 1975) Honorable Mention in 1985. Planted in 2011. Colors were less pronounced in 2017.

Running the alphabet list has made me rethink 'not' uploading some of my daylilies. When I was posting pics from this past summer, I would look at the database and think, 'Wow, they have a ton of pics for this one ... they don't need mine.'

And then I go to post alphabet pics of daylilies in my gardens, and don't have some of my own pics to show.

I have both Kwanso and Flore Pleno, I'll have to take a better look this year and see which one is planted where...

Mike, I hope there's nothing else in that area you want. I've been digging them out for years…so invasive!.

Zoia I have some variegated grass that is aggressive as Kwanso in that area by the garage.

This was a new plant this year, and I think it is going to become a favorite.

King of Spades

This plant was a bonus. It did not reach its registered height and will not get a chance to because I sent it to a new home in the north. It was rust-prone. I will say in its favor that it was very sun-fast.
