Do you look for the flowers underneath the foliage in the spring?

I've checked but have not seen any.

They are very small & dark in the spring. DH looked for years until he realized where they were. I have decided that I need more soloman's seal.

I checked this spring and there they were. For some reason I didn't take pics.
Bob that canadense? has a beautiful leaf form. Does it do as well as the europaeum?

They don't grow as thick a bunch , but have a larger leaf form and are spreading well so far.

The Hellebore section of the garden is flowering .

Not anything blooming in the shade as yet. Only daff & a single tulip in flower.

Bob, your Hellebore are beautiful. They are a great joy to see in the spring.

Hellebore are nearly done here but Hostas are coming up. The little JM "Spring Delight" is budding.

We lost a wonderful shade of the scots pine. I loved the depth of the shadows on the lilies.
