I agree Me too, think they would look great on a tree. Another project that looks very interesting to try. Should I clean my house first, no I don't think so as that would take too long. Do have to vacuum out the wall furnace, DH is already complaining about the cold.

OK, so I have my perfect (I think) sand clay mixture, I have my perfect snowflake cutter, now I want to make sure that my sand snowflakes last a long time. But, I don't want to compromise the look and feel of the snowflake. I want to seal them so that humidity does not make them go mushy and I want to make sure they do not get brittle. I also want to preserve that sandy feel that the snowflakes have. I have tried grout sealer, but it seemed to make the clay "mushy" and I trashed a piece. I also tried Thompson Water Seal for all surfaces, but it really makes the snowflake stink....plus I have no idea yet what it does to the clay composition. I know I could use a good spray sealer, but that's going to take away the feel of the sand and leave it with a glossy feeling texture. Any thoughts?????

Progress report: The Aleene's Turbo Glue has worked perfectly on my projects. Strong without eating through the silver backs of mirrors and rhinestones. Thumbs up I love the fast drying time of this glue. Project is on track.

Thanks again for the suggestions.

I tip my hat to you.

Thanks gals. Big Grin It was taken today right before Allie and I went to lunch. I like cell phone pics a lot. They erase wrinkles that my good camera seems to magnify! Blinking

Great! DH and I both have old phones and all that I had ever noticed about the pictures that they took was that they were not very detailed----well duh! It is the details of my wrinkles that I would not want to see! Rolling on the floor laughing I wish that I had put 2+2 together a long time ago, but that is what efriends are for! Thanks! That is some valuable information Big Grin

Rolling on the floor laughing June. Some of my cell phone pictures turn out down right creative because the camera is so challenged.
