Well, my little project came out pretty good! This morning I was a little skeptical so I made another batch adding some Tacky glue to the mix. But the first batch came out nice and strong, not crumbly like I thought it might be.

Where's the snowflake??? But that is cute..

I found I did not have a snowflake cookie cutter that I liked, so I made the trees. I now have some snowmen and angels drying and I will see if I can find a snowflake cutter that I like.

May have to try looking in Cookie cutter section of the store. I've not found one yet either.

I have a snowflake cookie cutter, it's just one that I like. It's a plastic one with a full back so getting the clay out of it is a pain. I want an open one that cuts out areas within the snowflake. There is a cooking store at the flea market that carries a wide range of cookie cutters. I may stop up there on Friday to see what I can find. The picture below is kind of what I want to make.

I read you can use Talc or spritz it with water to release clay from mold. I haven't tried it.

I've painted it Terra cotta and I made a trellis to go into it. It's white. Also got little fish that I made this morning.

Well, I used E 6000 for the first time today... made a little candle base with some small acorns that DH had picked up for me. It turned out pretty cute, and the glue was easy to use (but requires care... I can see how it could get ugly, LOL!).

Yes, a little mirror that I bought at the dollar store, that and the candle. Isn't it sweet that Tony picked up acorns for me, because I mentioned that I'd like some to make something with. Awwww....
