I plant the aloes every spring; they go in a pot and come inside for the winter. The semps in the other boots were bought at the greenhouse this year and they are not doing well! I think next year I will go back to aloes in them too.

There weren't any rules...no one had to paint...just show a way for shoes in the garden.

I want all of them on my front porch. Big feet do come in handy. I had to buy mine. I have lined up to do a pair of cowboy boots, a pair of ropers and more baby shoes. I think I have an old apir of flip flops I could do, too. I love yours Becky, bright beautiful colors.

Someone needs to do a baby shoe. Lin, I love the crocs,just the way they are but I love all of them. You all doing great!!

Charleen, I have a navy blue pair of croc's floating in the pool. I wore them out in the yard earlier when it was raining and they got a little muddy so I pitched them in the pool when I came in. I love Croc's, they are the next best thing to being barefoot but I have a problem finding them to fit. I wear a size 7 shoe and every pair of Croc's I've ever bought seem to fit when I first put them on but they end up stretching and are way too big. The pair I have that are floating in the pool are size S (6-7) and they are a bit big now, I find myself tripping if I'm not careful. Gee ... a friend and I were shopping yesterday and looking at the cutest little girl shoes for a friends twin daughters ... some were so cute with little flowers and ladybugs, a pair of those would look adorable with a little plant in them!

Look out yard sales!!!! We may have to start rummaging yards sales to find shoes for plants. You can always plant the blue ones ,Lin. I have some pink ones that I'm thing of planting after I saw yours. Great ideas bouncing around on these threads. I love it here with you all..

I planted mine today and one's on the wall, the other one's on the ground. I need to re-think the pot...it was heavy and the glue didn't hold it once planted. Maybe wire the pot.

Here are the flip flops actually being used. I think maybe a wire to hold the pot will work better and I can paint it too. Susie told me that she thought they'd look fun at the entrance to a beach cottage.
