Sandi -- Here you are. Hard to keep up with you lately... you're a busy woman!

Question: Do you think this glass could be used for a driveway? Like a gravel driveway only glass?

Smiling

Hi there!
The first time I bought some, the man who loaded it told me he would have glass stuck in his tire treads when he got home. The roads at the dump had glass mulch as their "gravel." He didn't seem to have a problem with it. There were cars and trucks going all day out there over the glass. It's about the same size as gravel if that helps...and the first time I used it, I put it on top of the gravel on the pathway.

Excellent. We have an old asphalt driveway and I want to start replacing part of it. This might be just the thing if I can find it around here.

Thumbs up

You know I like my yard art and so forth. This goes right along with it. Now wouldn't a glass driveway be just the thing? Big Grin

All the glass I've seen like Bubbles, you could even walk on it barefoot. Well, I guess I should say if you can walk on gravel barefoot Rolling on the floor laughing and many people can and I think the glass is even smoother.

Thanks for another great idea, Sandi. I hope I can pull it off. Lovey dubby

That's good to know, Vicki. I've seen the tumbled glass but never examined it too closely.

Anyone know how well it packs down?

We're just getting ready to go the dump....why...to get glass. DH is "thrilled" to have another opportunity to shovel glass in the heat. He really is a trooper. I'll get some pics for Becky of where we get the glass, and what it looks like before the sand is washed out of it. Too bad I can't let her smell it!

Smells like the dump, does it? Your hubby IS such a trooper to shovel glass in this heat. It is soooo hot and humid here right now.

Oh, I hope I can find that glass around here. Rolling my eyes.
