Room is the boundary for me right now. I am very space challenged and I still want to enjoy my other plants.

I could take out more lawn for more room for iris but at my stage in life that is not realistic. I don't keep some areas in my garden weeded now.

If it becomes such a chore that I feel it is a job instead of a pleasure it will no longer be something that I maintain. At my age my friends tell me I have to consider limitations. Then I remind them of the summer I was on crutches and hobbled about every few days watering all my plants during a drought. I will have to be really challenged to stop playing in the garden. Recently, I have developed vertigo so some days I carry a staff while gardening..... other days I fall about a bit. It does keep the dog entertained.

I had planned to order from Bugard as their prices are great and they have many good ones but in one day it seems, all of the ones that I wanted are SOLD OUT. I am so bummed. I doubt that I can find the ones I wanted at those prices elsewhere! I guess you have to act fast!

Some of our plants will be coming out for the club sale in July, so I think that I have a little more leeway. Oh Horrors I want Keppel's TB Billowing Waves.

Bummer, Janie. I hope you can find them elsewhere -- and for the same price.

I never heard of Bugard -- are they on our resources list?

It's actually Burgard Iris Farm. I made a small order with them last year and got some nice rhizomes...I don't recall what they sent for bonuses but I would order with them again. Their website is acting a little weird for me...at least today. And I'm wondering if they had a rough year and started out with a lot of irises 'sold out' because there are so many marked that way. Either that or they have not finished updating from last year? Anyway I'll add them to the vendor list.

I don't even want to truely make a REAL wishlist (you know-on paper). I think it would just cause:

There are a bunch of cultivars that I got from a retiring iris gardener (they moved to Southern Florida) that have a very good chance of being mislabeled. Therfore, I expect to adding to my Superstition Iris Gardens order if these come up wrong.
