Rob, your Camelias are gorgeous! And the pictures you shared recently of your camelia garden were stunning! Your yard must be beautiful right now!!
I have to admit I'm a bit envious of all of you and your beautiful gardens. I have only recently been ripping out lawn to make planters and my plantings are sparse and immature. I have had a few blooms here and there so I'll post what I can.
Saucer Magnolia
They are a little bit chewed up, but Jurassic Park has been blooming!
I took these at the Merced National Wildlife Refuge last week:
And these are a few photos I took at Yosemite on Saturday:
Thanks Deb! I've been taking a lot of photos trying to learn how my new camera works, of course I only show the good ones...not all the 100's of others that don't make the cut!
Thanks for the nice pics. It's been snowing lightly all afternoon. I suppose it's better then freezing rain. If I don't go postal by Saturday, it looks like the temps move up a bit into the low 30's.. So I'm going to need lost of pics of spring to get me to Saturday! If on the other hand they find me walking the strees in a tu tu telling people my name is Rob, and I need an iris, someone come and get me out of jail!!!!
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
We are at the end of the almond blossom season. Here is a picture of one of the orchards I passed today.
And here is a Noid iris that is growing in a patch outside our company office. DH runs the business...I try to stay out of the way! I'd much rather be working in the garden!
