Me too! Thanks everyone it's 10 below this morning and I have to go brave the cold. Ugh. I'm going to need many more spring time pictures when I get back in!

We have sleet today, so it will be a few days before I can take more photographs.

When these guys first come out they are bright purple, but as the season goes on the later blooms get much paler. Might be because moles or somesuch have been moving them around and they are coming up in a line all down my yard, instead of in the garden where they get better fertilized.

They all make me wish the view out my window at work wasn't at grey skies and a frozen pond. In the spring, with the cherry trees, the pond is beautiful.

Thanks for the pictues. It's still only 2 below and it's almost 11:00 here. Although being out in 2 below seems nice compared the the 12 below it got down to before the sun rose this morning. Sooo.......... I'll be needing a bunch of spring pics to keep me going and to give me courage to brave the elements again later this afternoon.

I tried to take some photos yesterday, but the battery needed to be charged on my camera. It died while trying to take the first photo. I'll try to take some later today.

OH cool nice spring blooms! It's a major heat wave here, it's now up to 2 above! I'm going to need lots of pictures when I get back in from outside. Neal those tulips are really different and nice! Paul, love that close up of the pansy! You all take such nice pictures.

Tom, those are little T.clusiana species types, (chrysantha I think)- I've found they're reliably perennial.

@Zencat Celia, are the 2nd and 4th photos of the same plant?

Neal, they ate but, for the life of me, I can't think what it is. Basket of Gold comes to mind.
