Rob, I thought Camellias needed a lot of water? Part of why I don't have any, here.
Not a lot of water, but they do need to be watered. I let my 3 lawns die, my lavenders along the fence die and I didn't water my fruit trees over the Summer to keep my garden as alive as I could. If we don't get more rain, I don't know what else I will need to cut off from watering to keep other things alive.
Love all the pictures! Paul as ususal is showing his great tallent. Things are waking up for you Celia. I hope your blooms don't get distroyed in your wintry weather Debra. I was supposed to get up to the mid 30's today, It's not going to make it, but the sun just came out so it might warm a bit more. Wish the wind would stop. I'm sure glad you guys keep posting these signs of spring, or I would be starkers by now. Keep them coming.

I think that it is 'Rocky Red'. It is done by Joe Pye Weed's garden & if not there you could send them an e-mail. Not sure if it is introduced, but they do have others (pumila sieboldi) not sure of the spelling. they brought the red one to a club meeting & I got it there.
Oh Lucy, I've just drooled over the Primula offerings! I don't see Rocky Red offered, or any red/yellow varieties, but I want every single one they do offer!

Thanks it was a wierd bunch of clouds during sun set, I ran and got the camera, but it wasn't quite as cool as it was earlier by the time I got back outside, but it made a nice picture anyway.

Well, since no one posted any more spring pics I'll have to see what I can find. This is a peony from my aunt. It dates back to pre WWII.
Mourning Dove babies and mom in my cherry tree.
A plate of chicken
Tulips
Baby Cedar Waxwing
Wierd Mushroom
That will have to do until tomorrow morning when I know I'll have lost of pictures of spring blooms to look at.
