I hope so too Hetty, most of my plumerias blooms are consistent size and shape except for Puu Kahea, if I got these as cuttings I would think I got a wrong one.
A few of my cuttings that were taken last October have started rooting. I potted up two today. I hate to tell the lady that donated the cuttings to me that fall IS NOT the time to take cuttings. She was so kind giving me all those cuttings and five of them had seed pods as well. I probably lost 25% over the winter. Not a single one of those five with seed pods that I grafted last October has been successfully grafted. All the cuttings rotted at the junction and I have now removed them from their root stock, cut them back to healthy tissue, and will either try to root them or try to graft them one more time. I need more daylight hours!

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
Now you don't...
Typhoon Dolphin did this. At least it wasn't uprooted like some of my other trees (not plumeria). Another couple of years of growing to do.
