Kadie, this is where I learned a lot of things about plumeria. Before I joined the forum I had only 2 plumerias and was quite happy with them. When I stumbled on this forum I can't even tell you exactly how many I got now. From seedlings, newly potted cuttings and mature trees.

Ken the only difference I noticed between my Dwarf Pink Singapore and my compact ones (Divine, Mini white and Thumbelina), the latter ones have thicker branches just like Celadine. DPS have skinny branches, some are thinner than my fingers. Both the dwarf and compacts would bloom on 2 inches length tips. The main trunk /branches are long but the tips are short. each blooming tip may produce 3 to 4 tips, which could produce inflo on same year of growth thus the tips multiply faster.

The compact cuttings when planted could grow to 12 inches on the first year of planting and once it starts blooming the new tips get shorter. The DPS cuttings on the other hand grow really slow. I have an almost 2 year old DPS that may bloom this year (3 tips) but is only 7 inches tall. And almost 3 years old in June (7 tips) that is only 18 inches tall.

The blooms are impressive but I didn't notice their blooms last year:

Here's the Tahitian plumeria that has gotten relatively common here. They are so easy to grow, but they don't have a fragrance.

It is about 2 years old, 8 - 9 ft tall, growing between 2 beetle nut trees.

I agree I agree that's Pudica

Definitely Plumeria pudica. Originally from Santa Margarita island near Venezuela.

It is about 2 years old, 8 - 9 ft tall, growing between 2 beetle nut trees.

I am now like Hetty. Whistling Show me a close up of the leaves and I can tell you. The flower itself cannot determine the plant. I have a Celadine that produces a completely different flower than its sister plants, and all the plants came from cuttings of my original, 30 year old Celadine.

If you mean the Celadine variations, here they are. Quite different, huh? Hetty says the Celadine is the only plumeria with this double banding along the leaf edge. At least I think that what she told me. I thought I had two different varieties but the leaf pattern is the same on both.

To my poor eyes, it looks like the Celadine leaf. Hetty has better eyes and is more knowledgeable than I. Sighing!

Looks the same to me, but I don't have a Celadine so I don't know for sure. *Blush* am sure Hetty can confirm it, as she seen them all.
