Sure, I have more lizard photos. But I'll give you a break today and call this one Lizard Food of the Day.

Charlotte the invasive very common gecko here is the Asian House Gecko. It is a Hemidactylus as is the Mediterranean Gecko. I would post a picture but I have just converted to Windows 10 and cannot find anything easily. I hate having to learn these new things.

Awww, Glen. I "upgraded" a couple of years ago to Windows 8. Worst computer system I ever tried to learn. It was NOT user friendly. Finally gave it to my grandson and got an Apple MacBook Air. I've never been happier. Good luck with your new conversion.

Beautiful! You certainly do have the lizards in your area!

I love the lizards. They're great for pest control and so entertaining to watch! My dog has to chase the neighbor's cat out of the yard occasionally. Cats are hard on both lizards and birds. It makes me so sad to find a pile of feathers.

Charlotte, that is a handsome lizard, we do not have any here, or snakes , too cold.

Well, some people might say that's a good thing.....
When I was younger, there were a lot of horned lizards around (commonly called 'horny toads'). Now they're scarce because the fire ants are killing them off. I miss seeing them.

We do have the horny toads where we live here in NM. They are so cute. Right now the babies are everywhere. They are about the size of a nickel and so hard to see. We have to watch where we step or we'll kill them.

Oh, Karen, that makes me so happy!!! I'm smiling thinking about all those little baby lizards running around! You should feel very lucky. And thanks for the photo!!! They are so sweet.

They are very sweet! Our last dog used to bother them, but our new puppy is oblivious and never notices them.

I don't usually get very many cool-looking lizards, just "brown" ones and "green" ones The brown ones range in shades from almost black to a light tan, some with interesting designs. Here are a few I captured today:

Love all the Lizard pictures. I had a Blue Tongue Skink as a pet . He would sleep on the couch under a pillow with his heating pad I had a note on the couch saying "Check for lizard BEFORE sitting " LOL

We have some Blue tail skinks here , The male is to fast for pictures But, his lady looks to be in the family way so she
did not move and I got her photo
