I totally agree!
I love the Star of Rio, such a lovely color and the lip is very nice. And the floofy Cat is no slouch either.
Have fun at the Orchid auction and the Tropiflora event sounds like fun too, I know I have bought from them some succulents and books years ago.

My Spring bloomer: Odtna. Papageno 'Lavender Lady' glad it came back, just waiting for the other bud which needed a little help a few days ago. The bloom stalks are rather short this time.

Don't really know..this one has been indoors all winter long, just by our south facing window, getting all the light it can get. Maybe it wanted much more light.
On the good side, this is the third Oncidium I have that bloomed indoors, two during winter and this one by Spring. Usually they bloom here in mid to late Spring, or in early Fall. Onc Hilda Plumtree Purple Wings is still holding on to its 3 blooms, extended time already, the longest it has done it, usually lasts for a month, but now half way to its 2nd month. Learning a lot from these three.
HI here is the image of my cattleya skinneri'RIO' We bought it from Ruben Orchids.
I had great difficulty to post this image.
Hope this time it would work.

I wish I had something more spectacular, but the Phalaenopsis is the only bud I have that is newly opened. This is Dtps. Luchia 'Pink'. My Den. Aphrodite x Den. Golden Aya is getting close, perhaps tomorrow.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

Nothing very exciting here, but I did get a few pics.
Phal and Gerberara snow ballet on porch and on lemon tree. They took a brief break, but are winding up now
Ansellia africana (dark form) gave me a surprise spike and Epi. secundum never stops blooming. Pot. Cameron's magnatism blooming poorly, but blooming
Epi. ellipticum (purple) is a mini and Den. Stardust 'firebird' is a mini also
Blc. Zul 'Waiomao fantasy' has blasted most of it's buds and the color is broken. My new Lc. Rojo has a nice spike
Carol, what do you mean "nothing exciting here"?!
You have lots of good stuff in bloom, I think your Epi secundum is spectacular!! You rarely see the Ansellia Africana in bloom anywhere. I love your Lc Rojo too. Everything looks good, nice show!!
Ken, nice color on that Phal and
Melissa, that wonderful award is well deserved!! Great job!
