TB Grand Canyon Sunset. I cannot capture the color of this one. it is less blue and more lavender with a gold rim on the fall and the standards are less pink and more peach.
I've been admiring your blooms the last few days I've been perusing the forums but this one is probably my favorite so far. WOW!

Grand Canyon Sunset is lovely, Amber and stick around on the iris forum. The big iris growers gardens are poised for a really big iris show. You don't want to miss it!

Have some outstanding photographs of some beautiful blooms posted by these Iris folk. The only caution is: Be careful--you might become ensnared by the Iris Virus and, then, look out!!!

I planted Warrior King next to Quapaw and both are warm reds but it worked out because as Quapaw is putting on its last bloom WK is just beginning to open. happy accident. This year seems to be the year I am in love with warm reds.

Actually, Mary Ann, as you can probably guess...... it is MUCH lovelier than in my photos. The bud is pale green and even though you cannot tell it the pale green shows around the edges of the standards and falls. It is a nice iris.
