Very pretty Dendrobium!

The Whattheheckia ( oh my gosh, the spellcheck completed the name ) Appleblossom is starting to open the first of two spikes.

And Leptotes bicolor opens some more blooms

I really like your Whattheheckia 'Appleblossom' ! Does your Leptotes bicolor have a scent? I think that is what I smelled while watering early this morning, but then I noticed a single bloom on my Bc. 'Bill Worsley', but all scent was gone next time I checked.

Still drooling over everyone's blooms. they are all beautiful to me.

my no ID pink Catt on the oak tree surprised me with first of the twin bloom and behind it there is another spike on the way and it has babies too.



My No ID Dendrobium loves my Divine plumeria. Soon My plumeria and orchids will bloom together.

Also late upload, my Mom's orchids growing wild. she swears they do better when she is not fussing over them.

All are very nice, Gigi. She apparently doesn't live in Mississippi.

Nope she doesn't, she wants me to start growing my orchids on trees so my orchids will bloom like hers. So now am starting to grow them on oak trees, plumerias and fortune plants ;). So far I'm seeing a lot of improvements in their blooms and number of babies.

Carol, I just sniffed the Leptotes bicolor and also the C skinneri, I am not really getting any scent on either.

Thanks Ursula, my Mom has 10 varieties of Vanda but they don't bloom at the same time. Your collections are drop dead gorgeous!

Really wonderful, Gigi, both yours and your Mom's! I really want some cheeky Vandas that stick their tongues out like those. They are saying "see I don't need any fuss to bloom".

My Vanda is 2 years old and is not doing anything so I told my Mom' I'm not buying another Vanda until mine blooms. I will stick with Dendrobium and Catt, they seem to like me better.

One of my two large vanda has begun forming its inflorescence stem. This may be the year for yours to bloom, Gigi. Both of mine are 5+ year old plants, and they have both bloomed twice each year for the last 4 years.

I hope you are right Ken. The roots are really long now and are all attached to my oak tree.

Ursula, I checked again at 6:30 am, and I could smell it as soon as I opened the door. By the the time sun came up, it was all over, so I suppose it depends on some kind of moth for pollination in the wild. It only has two blooms open, but very nice scent from 5' away.
