I found some elm seedlings in with my annual seedlings. I think they thought they could be sly.
I'm almost done with the dismantled ring garden. I have about 1/8th of a spot left. I probably could of pushed myself a little bit and finished today, but I was already tired of slipping in the mud I made.
I decided that once I mix in all the amendments I want to add to the clay, put my edging back, and put mulch down, I'm not going to plant a vitex yet. I might do it in the Fall or wait until next year. I already have a tree to keep an eye on water wise and I'm going to be transplanting three lantanas from my Mom's soon (so those will need to be babied for a little whole), so I don't want to worry about a shrub out front too. And I also have a newly-ish planted Yucca that hasn't been in the ground for a month yet that I'm still babying. I think that will give the ground enough time to settle too.
