Lin that last one is very interesting! Love to find little hidden surprises like that in the garden.

I have many still coming up, I think the drier spring may have delayed many of mine, but with the afternoon rains returning I'm seeing many popping up.

The Fannie Munson has a "Real Thin" leaf.
You can put your hand behind it and see the silhouette of your hand. Because of that they can't handle very much sun

This is the same plant that bloomed last year that I showed. It's already finished with its' bloom. It came up & faded really quickly. It's been so dry here, I think that's why. So happy it's sprinkling at the moment!

Bill, that pic made me say "wow" out loud & really want one (or a dozen) of those plants!

I love Caladiums as well, but sadly here I have to dig em up in Fall and I lose > 50 % in storage.

David I lose some bulbs to critters every year, the squirrels especially. They dug up the largest Lance Whorton bulb I had potted

Mine are all but gone for winter. I will post some better photos with questions next spring.

Just a reminder that the 24th Annual Caladium Festival is next week-end.
The festival runs from the 29th thru the 31st. On Saturday they have a car show on the circle here in town for all you car enthusiast!!
I am also having an Open House here at my warehouse where we will offering caladium bulbs at DEEP discounts!! We'll also have the grill fired up cooking gourmet hot dogs. The refrigerator is stocked with bottled water and cold sodas too!! I will also give folks a tour of the fields if they'd like one. I will take you out and we'll drive right out in to the middle of the fields so you can get up close and personal with these beautiful plants!! If you'd like a tour of the fields, make sure you bring your camera!!
