I just got some lovely luminatas in my BBox. One is a median! They are such lovely things. I have some more on order too. Really looking forward to the granddaddy Crystal Ship.

I have an iris open! Hurray! Jennifer Rebecca! She has tried for so many years to re-bloom, and finally did it today. Most years she's later and gets frozen out.

Wow, it was fun to look at it again. A lot of both the flowers have gone, and some of the people are not on here any more. Glad you enjoyed the trip to the past Sucrose. Smiling

Somebody must have been doing the tutu rain dance around here yesterday, we got about 7 inches of new snow. Speaking of tutu days, Rob must have been dancing big time with all the rain that they got in Calif. this spring. Rolling on the floor laughing I sure miss his humor, wish he'd pop in once in a while.

Tom, I had missed this thread, and it was so much fun discovering it, and going through it page by page. What a wonderful collection of irises you have. And each one prettier than the next!

I only started gardening a few years ago, and already realize that plants, especially iris are not forever. Some not even survive the first season, others grow slowly, some although survived and seems promising, but miss bloom for a reason or two. I cherish every flowers that opens to me. Your flowers are amazing, I also enjoy reading your personal thoughts one them.

Tom, speaking of the "tuto rain dance," my back yard is currently a swale with large puddles everywhere, including where the LAs are planted, but thankfully not where the bearded iris are planted, thanks to the slightly excavated garden edge, which gives some drainage to the bed.

We had a deluge of rain the past couple of days. Cold and windy today but thankfully the rains have subsided. Sorry about the snow Tom!
