Great roses Neal! My Golden Fairy Tale is still very small, just planted a few months back. My Caramella is probably 7X7!! Huge!
The first rose flush is winding down now and soon I will need to go prune all the spent blooms, add some compost and fertilizer to help gear them up for round two.
Dang ! 'Cinderella' is showing spider mite damage. Half of the rose is defoliated and we have only had two days of high temps. This rose is my "canary-in-the-mine". It's always the first rose in the garden to show signs of spider mite infestation. Now, I not only have to dis-bud every rose every day for the curcullios, I have to wash every rose every day to control the mite infestation.
I am getting so tired of bugs !
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.
Yesterday and today I have been cutting bouquets off my Lavaglut Floribundas for Bouquets. So far have cut 6 huge bougquets and given them all away to friends.
