Sally Heliopsis Loraine Sunshine I have in my garden. Love the cream/green leaves and the sunny yellow flower. They re=seed? I mean if one popped up in your garden naybe a birdie planted it for you? I like the sound of that.

I had bought about 3 years ago from our nature center a brown eye Susan that is supposed to be native in WI. Well I have it ALL over now,. Its in the side beds, the front beds, the neighbors bed. Hilarious! Lamium is that way here too.l I planted about 3 plants in 2007 and I have it everywhere including in the lawn and the neighbors side yard. She doesn't do anything with that side of her house. Lucky it gets mowed once a month but boy the brown eye Susan and the lamium is doing wonderful there. Cherie, I have no idea. I know I never bought it. A neighbor gave me the common Heliopsis which started out double, but re-seeded single. I don't think she even has the varigated Loraine. It's is a complete mystery to me, LOL!

Same story here. I just pulled a lot of Wood Sage/Germander. It really rseeded, but the bees really went for it so I waited till the blooms were gone. I also had Rudbeckia I brought from the country. It's still not what I want. I want the very small blooms with the black centers. I have Larkspur and Tall American Bellflower come up all over. Also Silene ''Electra.''But all are so pretty I don't care.

CeCe does have a beautiful garden --- I'm lucky in as that she's within driving distance, altho it would be a quicker drive if I hadn't got lost so much Sticking tongue out Rolling on the floor laughing Whistling Hilarious!

I had some old datura seed that I came across (early this spring) in my 'seed stash' that was about 5 yrs old and I just literally dumped the seeds in a container of soil and didn't really pay much attention to them and they came up beautifully Hurray! . I collected 8 huge seed pods and they are now drying in my basement. The Dat flowers only last a day whereas when I was growing brugs the brug flowers seemed to last 'forever'. I am now going to be growing brugs once again next year (thanks to some very special people who shared cuttings with me) and have my containers all set outside already for them Thumbs up .

I'm already anticipating a fantastic garden next year despite becoming permanently disabled in Dec, 2010. Since I no longer am able to transport pots/containers from outside to inside---I now will just dig up my 'fragile' plants and repot them to temporary pots down in my basement and then replant them outside next year. I started my tomatoes from seed for this year's garden and I still have 'tons' of tomatoes left.

Thank you CeCe for letting me know about ATP!!!

Peace & Love, Jan
Happy Gardening!

My pleasure Jan, The cuttings rooting for you? Hope so. I have about 18 that need to be potted up, Ed asked where are going with those? I dunno, I told him. He then said, you were taking cuttings because............................?I cut back a few well MOST of them. Couldn't make myself throw them out???????????/ What can I say? I'm demented or something.
