I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!!!! It's dim, but it's there!
And, let's not underestimate the brilliance of light, no matter how dim it may be. Point in case:
During World War I? II? (Churchill) Soldiers in Great Britain were under pain of death for striking a match to light a cigarette, while outside on watch. Reason being that, in the pitch black darkness, enemy planes could spot a lit match from miles away, thereby targeting allied forces for air strikes.
One little match light could take out a whole town....
Yep. My light burns BRIGHT!
