Oh my, I'm behind again. Hilarious! I usually get up about the time Vicki posted her last post but I slept in until 6 this morning. Big Grin

Those are all great and especially for $2.25, Robin! Wow!

I agree, Pegi, sometimes the GW seems a bit pricey to me too ... and sometimes no rhyme or reason to the pricing. BUT sometimes I find great deals like this very old spice cabinet for $2.50. Keeps me going back again and again just to see what I might be missing. Hilarious! I think I showed you this one already, Sharon. I do get conflicted about repurposing some things due to their intrinsic value.

I LUV solar lights and have a lot of them. That is a terrific idea, Sharon and Robin! And that one is very pretty! Now why hadn't I thought of that?? Going to do it soon. I repurpose and reuse my burned out solar lights in the back shade garden. I glued an old red glass vase on one and when I saw the light come through it in the morning ... bingo! Going to make more like this... These pics are a couple months' old and not so good, but you get the idea (enlarge the photos).

Tee, I love your little spice cabinet. Price was sure resonable too. Guess I'll have to try them again. We have another place called Savors, old and new things, prices on used things are really high. Just have to keep looking.

I like the use of solar lights too, a neighbor put some along side his driveway and the next morning they were gone. Other neighbors have some and no one bothers them.

FINALLY wandered over here, OMG!!! Blinking Blinking This thread is alive with with creativity! Thumbs up My mind is racing now thinking about some of the things I've got stashed from my Goodwill trips. Glass shades I had planned to use as forms for mushroom caps and china to smash for mosaics. I might be looking at them in a whole new way now!

I love everything I've seen here, way too many to comment on since it took me so long to catch up! Sticking tongue out I did want to ask Tee though, I spotted a spider? on your fence of faces, can we get a close up or has it already been posted in another thread? I've got a praying mantis in one garden and I think I need to add some more 'bugs'! Big Grin

I can't wait to get back on my feet...Goodwill here I come!!! Rolling on the floor laughing

You have good eyes, Debbie. I'll try to get a close-up and post it soon. Big Grin

Since I decided to start hanging faces and masks on the fence, I've not seen another one at my GW store. But surely in time. Blinking

Here you go. It's mostly wire and beads and in this instance, the body is metal balls. Could be wood balls, of course. Someone else made this, not I.

I do but it can be a curse. I look at photos with a different 'eye' than most people, I'm looking for the details. Whistling I've saved so many photos from the web over the years just so I can remember that tiny little detail/object I liked. Then I crop the photos and save them to a file for garden ornament or sculpture ideas for future reference. Rolling my eyes.

Thank you so much for the photo - I think this is do-able! I tip my hat to you.

Charlene, the dream catcher pattern would be nice. Lots of things you could do with that. Hmmmm....

Sharon, when I run out of ground space, I have to go vertical. Hilarious!

I've been dry stacking the thrift store items I got for the new totems. I'm very happy with the girl and also (probably) with the music stand. The boy ... I think I'd like to put something inside the purple cylinder vase. I still want light to show through so just want something fun (you know, slugs and snails and puppy dogs' tails -- but probably none of those little boy things). Something to emphasize the verticality.

Pictures are a bit dark, sorry.

You are welcome. Yes, I think very much so on the do-ability ... and it could morph into other bugs too (real or not). Now you've gotten me to thinking ... just sittin' and thinkin'. Of course I need another project. Of course I do.

We use old jewelry and any thing we can find to embellish. Lately the flower plates have been the most popular. We use rebar and electric fence poles to mount them on...The only piece shown here that I have in my garden is the white angel with clear and white dishes.
BTW I need to know how to get my pictures side by side...I have forgotten what I learned before and couldn't quite get then to go side by side..HELP!
