I used a paint pen for the writing and it came off with
nail polish remover...in case you want to use the saucer
in another location. Going to try finding some more
saucers over the winter months. They also make good
plate flowers and pot stickers...

Here is the clear glass totem with the added
bowl at the bottom..I think it really improved it.

I am luvin' the saucer plant markers. They could be decorated so many ways ... and would make great little gifts. Lovey dubby

I am also thinking about using glass plates and/or saucers to make borders for some garden beds. This is part of a back shade garden area with the border made from 3L wine bottles among other things.

I like the idea of lining beds with saucers too..Have been thinking about it off and on..Sometimes at GW you can get a stack pretty cheap..It would still take a lot but would be cute...I may start saving some for one of the smaller beds...

I like the saucers too for plant markers. People usually don't pick up saucers at the thrift stores, but bet there would be a rush on them if they read this thread. Wish my imagination would turn on to great ideas like these. I have a cute sunflower plate I put a chip in and thought about putting it out among some flowers. Another project to start, great at starting but really bad at finishing it up.

I saw a shade flower bed lined with saucers but they were all in the same family of blue and white...it was beautiful.

Think I slept from 3 till 8.
Seems like that's enough most of the time.
I don't set clocks or anything, I just sleep till I'm through sleeping, I guess.

Oh Wow Awesome, Robin!!
Incredible finds.

I finally found the perfect spot for my blue totem, also found a blue trimmed plate for its base. Here it is in the rain this morning.

My word, you have been busy, Robin! You go, girl. The one in the front of the top right picture reminds me of a mushroom. Like the oil lamp (?) on top of it.

Today was 50% off at our GWs. I went by and the line to check-out stretched from the registers at the front all the way to the back of the store. I don't know that I have more money than time, but today I had to make that call.

Lots of colors. So pretty. What will you be doing with the stacks?

I was typing while Sharon was posting. That looks great, S. Perfect in that spot.

I've been to the store twice and forgotten E-6000 both times so I'm at a bit of standstill right now. Things are dry-stacked and ready to glue. Tomorrow is another day. Just call me Scarlett. Did she spell her name with one t or two? Rolling on the floor laughing

Sharon I love that blue totem and the plate is perfect with it. You gotta do more.

Tee Since I'm having a hard time working with this stupid RA, DH thought it was time to go back into the craft shows (he misses them) so these will go to the show along with memory and other stepping stonesI'm not remembering what else is going. That lamp at the top can be for candle oil or citronella oil. I found three of them, two were like the one in the pic the other is a blue and red combo. I want to find specific colors to go with it for my porch since I sit out there at night for hours at a time.

I'd love to see how Veronica did those flowers. I think I have an idea of how but would like to confirm it. I've seen flowers done where they set on top of post. They are drilled in the middle and screwed onto the post. They make beautiful bird feeders, especially when you can find great plates and tea cup to go together.

Worn out, I've been on the go for 3 days straight and put close to 500 miles on the car, I need a nap. The thing that took the longest on those stacks is cleaning the stickers off and wash and drying them.

Somebody gave me the flower combo and it had holes drilled and was also to be screwed onto a tree or a post. Will a dremel make a hole or would it have to be a special drill bit?
