Pegi, I think we should all invest in Krylon and E6000. It looks like their sales should be going up, thanks to us.
Becky, I love Mary's work. I really do think her prices are great. And her eye for color is awesome. But because they weigh so much the freight runs from 19.00 to 25.00 dollars or more each, no discount for multiple items. Too expensive for me. Mary glues hers and ships them all ready together and ready for the garden. ( I didn't realize the other lady ships them un assembled.)
Besides, my Goodwill store is loving me.
I can just pick up a few pieces that work together and then spray paint for the saucers and then the fun begins. I love painting over my old stoneware with Krylon.
It's a great opportunity to use up all the odd glassware, bud vases, odd dishes and cups and saucers I have collected in my house over the years.
Now, once I get this flower painting down pat, I'll be doing good. Guess I need to pull out all of my Donna Dewberry videos and books again. And I need to replenish my folkart paints. I'm having trouble with them being too thick on the brushes, even when I use the medium. Either my paints or all of my brushes are too old. Geez, I'd hate to have to replace the brushes. I probably have about 30 of the green handled ones (Donna Dewberry's brushes). I noticed that you use Apple paints Becky. I bought some of those and they are thinner than the folkart. I like that , I think.
