Love that glass door knob, I should have taken all the knobs off the doors we lived in, was an old house and had door knobs like that. Well, new renters would have a hard time getting in and out a room with no door knobs. Of course I could have found some old knobs to put on instead. Another piece to watch for in thrift stores.

Tee, I would love welding too. There are classes you can take at some community colleges. I just don't have time for another thing on my plate until after Dec 8th.

Just thought I'd let you know I got lost in space after looking at your link! One link led to another, to another, to another. When I finally decided enough was enough I placed an order for some broken china for mosaics on one of the links I stumbled across.
Every day I see something new that I want on these threads. My friend I visited yesterday has a large collection of designer plates on her dining room wall (they belonged to her mother) and she said her son broke one, pieces still laying on the table. Of course there were some big pieces missing and I thought about gluing the plate together and putting my my garden. Now, I thought I could take a pair of nippers I have (but first have to find them) and make some neat mosaic pieces out of it. Wouldn't you know the plate was from "Sound of Music" my favorite movie. Well, put the pieces up until after my BB is finished. Have to use them in a stepping stone. If it turns out good I may even give it back to her as a gift.
I think I like the bottom one best too. I'm looking at other treasures in the thrift store now like tea pots or some other whimsical piece. Going to look around the house as I'm sure I have some things to make totems with, Just so many great things to make and not enough time.
