They usually bloom in July.I cant wait either this is the tallest they have been.I cant coun buds yet,none are energing yet.

Maybe they won't bloom with the clems then.

Thanks ~ yes, it's certainly all mixed! I've never had hollyhocks get so huge, they're about 8' tall. I'm sure the copius amount of rain helped.

Be very glad that you haven't. We actually got some hh blooms this year, but they certainly struggled and weren't nearly as beautiful as yours. Too bad as they are my dh's favorites. Ah, well. I still have the zebrinas, lol!

Thanks all! Yes, I'd love to have a seat in the hammock if it wasn't soaking wet. Did you get rain, Susan? DH is in the northern part of town and only got sprinkles ~ I got over .25" in about 20 min. and temp dropped 17 degrees! It'll be nice and steamy this evening and the weeds will be happy.

I'm never going to find my lilies when I get home. It's been doing nothing but raining and really warm. Serious weed weather.....

One thing seems true about weed seeds, I never have any problems germinating those!
