The advantage with lilies that have L. rosthornii in their ancestry is that they are late blooming and extend the seasion a little bit. I belive that this lily are from the cross ( L. rosthornii x Buttercurls) x various trumpets, but I'm not sure.



This one I'm not sure what cross it come from, I like it a lot.



This one are from a L. henryi hybrid x 2n yellow OT. It have only one flower this year.

No 2 looks like 'gold eagle x buttercurls' that I have here,.,.

The last is my favorite by far. I don't see an trumpet lily characteristics, though. Perhaps next year when the flowers will be more true.

If I only had known that earlier. I got too much seeds from Denmark and send most of it to my friend in USA. There where thousands of trumpets and asiatics seeds.

Ebay seed purchase 'QB Man' Oxford England about 3 yrs ago..close but not quite, to 'Red Velvet"

I had to come back to take another look at this 'QB Man' red seedling today. That color really stuck in my mind--like a big red ripe strawberry. I think I like the color better than Red Velvet.

Supposed 'White Lancifolium ' seedling.... from an ebay seller.,Take a good look at its markings...Not too shabby! ...Yes, 1 anther is missing, I used it!!
