Pard, could it be 'Sally'? The picture on the site isn't that great, but Moby has it and maybe she could tell you if it might be that one. It is offered by Barbara this year.

Sally is a possibility. I didn't mention it because I wanted independent feedback. We are thinking alike. Their photo is poor as it doesn't show the face, but the description is spot on.

It indeed has excellent substance, crispy even. In form it is similar to Tiger Babies but the color is different.

Dang I just might have to order it to compare, and order CC again. Sounds like a good excuse, anyway.

I don't know. I guess the only solution is to buy some Sallys and grow them side by side. I just hate it when I am forced to buy lilies

Take a look at this one ~ last year was cool.

Now that definitely looks more like it. I'm amazed it can look so different. It has finished blooming so I can't reevaluate the coloring. I smacked its pollen around here and there but I see in the register that Sally is a triploid so I probably wasted my time.

Summer goes by way too fast for me. Usually these bloom mid-August, especially 'Journey's End', pictured here. We are ahead of schedule this lily season.

This new picture/upload multiple things, is driving me crazy. It must have something to do with when you type verses when you click what you are uploading. Here's Buggy's Bessie'

Then there's the moments when you click upload and it doesn't want to do it. Is it just me?
For example I clicked upload 5 times and this is what I get (notice no picture)

And now, after clicking and clicking, it takes. Whew! The beautiful, long-lasting 'Sumatra' One of my favorites.
