Sometimes when there is a huge brain delay, I can post somewhere on here and I get a 1000 ideas thrown at me, then I have to decide which I like the best. I'm getting a brain pain just typing this much. I keep focusing on those shades. Upside down on solar lights with see through colored balls on top.

The shades would have to be clear for the solar lights to work, though.

Walmart has inexpensive solar lights. Ya got a Walmart near you? I think I saw some at a Dollar Store, too.

A friend lined her walkway at Christmas with these shades. Keeping them just like Tee has them. She places a fragrant tea light on the path and placed the globe over them. It was like a fairy land and I almost gasped when I saw how inviting it looked. All of hers were exactly the same ... breathtaking!

Oh my, Lin I can't believe I haven't posted here yet! I'm with Becky, I haven't been able to stop thinking about these since I read the thread - I love the idea! The glass shades were at the top of my list when I hit the thrift stores on Monday. I scored with a couple of them but still don't have photos. Hopefully will have photos soon! I'd like to use mine with tea lights but still haven't figured how to make it work?

The shades are all the same size, Vicki, it's just the angle of the shot. But now you have me intrigued with the idea of graduated sizes. Hmmmm....
