Those are the $3 round solar lights from Kmart. They are quite a bit larger and brighter than the little $2 ones and with the shades in place, they do create a noticeable glow. Also, the stakes on the lights hold the shades in place so they don't blow or move around ... and don't need to be glued. Big Grin

Happy Dance! Hurray!

I went to Goodwill to find a coffee table to make over (didn't find one) but found a cute black skirt, never worn for $4.99. AND these shades.

Using my cell phone as a camera isn't great...but these are beautiful and the glass is a perfect mosaic accent!!! Now I'm going to play with an idea soon, using this same technique. I'm almost positive the glass is from a car window on the three that match.

69 cents for each one. SCORE!

The shades are painted glass. The mosaic glass is clear but it pulls the colors from the underneath. Tissue paper would be a great way to do this but it's flammable so perhaps painting with glass paints. Once I have my own camera back, I can better show you details.
