Fashionably Late is a stunner! That warmth at the hafts makes it so appealing and yummy! Your pics of Orange Harvest make me excited to see the one you sent me bloom- it's got nice increases by the way Smiling

And my final one for today, a white noid that I love. Big, lacy, pristine white bloom, and as tough as nails.

Happy it is doing well for you, Neal. The one I sent to Bonnie didn't make it, but I can send her another next year.

You might want to check this one with Laced Cotton. Smiling

Leslie, Going Dutch is one of Bob Leire's creations from Colorado. I should have one to share next year though. I shared a lot of it this year.

Thanks Tom - it was on my wish list for you this year, but didn't make the box you sent. Not that plenty of other treasures didn't! I tip my hat to you.

Like Space Cadet! Looks like it stays relatively short. Which is nice. Some of mine get as tall as the TB.

Like this crazy mix of iris types. I am getting to see a lot of new ones. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Precipitation in Garland for the last 12 hours has been nearly 4½ inches, with more, more, and more on the way.

An hour ago, my house looked like this:

A few minutes ago during a break in the weather, I took these of Orange Harvest:

A bit battered, but stands up well to heavy rain and a good choice if you are looking for sturdiness along with the rebloom.

Impressive that they haven't torn or curled up. That is a lot of rain Debra. Hope you don't have flooding.

We started out good but the rain slacked completely off. We have less than a half inch so far. I am hoping for more out of this front. Your area looks great Debra and that iris is perfect for this time of year.

Tom, I was convinced the white one was Laced Cotton, but then noticed how so many photos of it have a slight blush of lavender toward the interior. Mine has never shown that- its always pure white, and I have it planted in a couple of places with different soils and exposure. Would that rule out LC as a possibility?

Yes it does have a bit of a lavender blush to it, and I don't think it has that yellow at the end of the beard like yours now that I look closer.

Debra, the hurricane off the coast of Mexico may have water coming your way. Mountains there break up the wind according to weather person. I worry about my nephew in Austin getting heavy rains.

The white iris behind 'Fancy Caper' is I. cristata 'Vein Mountain'. It gets shade in the morning. We have plenty if anyone wants to try it next year. It does like shade.

'Fancy Casper' to the data base? Whew. We sent a piece to Charley Carver who is collecting Bee Warburton plants. It took a second try. Luminatas were originally called 'fancies' although it doesn't look like one to me. But Bee would have known.

Charlotte, yes, put me on your trades list for Face Of An Angel. Thank you.

As to the photo you posted of Melanie Baither it is a lot like my photo of SDB Serendipity Elf.

This is the one posted as Melanie Baither on the AIS site.

Linnea has sent me a rhizome so that I can see if the one on ATP and my SE are one in the same. Then we will need to find either the real Serendipity Elf or the real Melanie Baither. My Noid is still a different iris.
