Here are a few I've had a while:

'Notorious' was introduced by Joe Ghio in 1991

'Cherry Blossom Song' is pretty, but not a great grower for me. Maybe it will do better if we get a normal winter for a couple of years.

I like the color combination on 'Earthborn'. Poor thing had been in really crappy soil until I moved it this year to a more hospitable location.

Been going back through the pictures. Barbara - does A Star Is Born grow well for you? I got it as a PNW bonus last year, and it hasn't bloomed yet. Are the standards more pink or peach? I love the dark beards.

Hi Leslie, I just went outside to look at A Star Is Born and it has not increased that much There are three rhizomes and I also got it at the 2014 PNW sale.
It was really hard to capture a good picture of this iris. Here are two additional pictures

I would say the color was cream with a blush of peach/pink. I thought it was really pretty.

I really do like the subtle pinkish and yellow together. Hope it blooms next spring.

Sherry - I always loved pictures of Cherry Blossom Song so I hope the one I finally got does well. I have bad luck with ones I really wanted performing as expected. Think I should learn from that!

Earthborn is lovely.

Love the coloring of Earthborn and of A Star is Born, although they are no relation to each other.

Tempesto didn't bloom this year, only had two fans. But now it shows five increases and is really healthy with big fans. Sure it will bloom next year.

Had five stalks on Genealogy this year and the increases are popping. Should be able to get a good clump shot next year.

Face of an Angel is another that will be a clump next year. It had bloomed both years.

I really have to get better about culling the ones that don't perform , or just don't thrill me. I'd have more room for more new ones then Whistling

Tempesto has been a good grower and bloomer for me over the years. I think it took 2 years for the first bloom, but then has been a regular bloomer.
Gitano is one that I enjoy so much. It is a regular bloomer, increases nicely, and is fertile both ways. I have several seedlings that I planted this year using this one.

Cold Fushion is one very interesting iris that is a regular bloomer. It seems to have so many subtle yet remarkable characteristics. One has to enlarge the picture and study it closely to see all of the interesting dimensions. Cold Fushion has it going on! Smiling

I love Going Dutch. It's a brilliant grower and bloomer. It starts blooming early, and keeps on throughout the bloom season, often still blooming when the late ones start. Interesting how the falls are yellow on the bottom and white on the top.

Lucy - those are some really healthy fans in your picture. All so nice and green and full. Cute IB too! What is the little white iris behind them?

Tom - It is because of ATP pictures that I got both Gitano and Cold Fusion this year. Really glad to hear they are good growers. I always worry with the fancy ones that they might be tempermental. As for Going Dutch.... Lovey dubby Lovey dubby I have not found a vendor for it yet.

Orange Harvest. Because not only is it beautiful, but it has a four-bud stalk on it right this very minute, with the topmost bud finally showing as open this morning...and it is pouring down rain for the first time since July. Sticking tongue out Thinking that a photograph would be useless. Shrug! Hilarious! Have had it about seven years. It always blooms in Fall for me and only once--this year--has bloomed in Spring. A most unusual Iris. Smiling

Fashionably Late. My sister is a take-it-or-leave-it Iris person (horrors!) and she went ga-ga over this one.

Fit for a King. This one is somewhat delicate(?) here. The flooding rains we had in May didn't help, but two of three rhizomes died out and the one in the photographs is struggling. I moved it this week hoping the new location would be more congenial for it.

Love Fancy Caper! I'm more and more fond of IBs each year.
