Drooling here, that is a beauty. I haven't seen any flowers/seeds on mine this year, I suspect it is all the rain and heavy gray weather we have had.

For those of you interested in growing the Cordyline from seed I should be able to help you out next summer when the fruit start to ripen. Flowering is still in progress on many of the plants and should continue thru Dec. as they have in the past. Fruit set looks really good on the early flowering plants at this time. But a hard freeze here this winter can change everything.

I have not noticed seed pods on my ti plants...will look from now on. I can't send cuttings from here, but I know I can send seeds, and will be glad to share.

OT - One of my huge Elephant Ears bloomed couple weeks ago and as I was cutting it down today noticed it has set seed but they were immature and rotting.

Here is a good example of what one should ( can, may) expect when growing the Ti from seed.

I am planning a section in my yard with lots of Cordylines, I have a spot against a west facing wall, would that work?

Hetty,
The west facing wall will work fine for many of the Ti plants. How many hours of full sun will the plants receive in the summer months?
