Mmmm, like the "Purple prince"

Thanks Scott for info on the Morning sunshine, I was gone for two weeks and kept them in an area that gets only morning sunshine and then shade. Unfortunately I found two lubber grasshoppers chomping away on my morning sunshine and a critter knocked the whole plant on its side, my bad for not putting the plastic pot down into the ground better. I'm trying to find a happy place for both right now, I like how the morning sun back lights the "Hilo".
My Kiwi looks beautiful and pretty much gets no sun, maybe a wee bit in the very early morning. The Peppermint swirl may need to be moved, the new leaves coming out aren't as full, may be too much afternoon sun now. Shrug!

Elaine, my Pop has done that all along one side of his garden, he has such nice rich soil.

Wow, that one's a real looker, Scott.

Rather than 'Showgirl' I would have named it "Chorus Line". How'd they get it to stay in one plane like that?

LOL, you are right Elaine, that one should be Chorus Line, it looks like the Rockette's legs - they are all in a row.

Outstanding plant Scott; you really find the good ones.

The International Cordyline Society lists this one as 'New Guinea Fan' but this comes from Hawaii as 'Showgirl'.
Elaine, I did not find this one and I have searched for years. It found me! I felt like I had won the lottery.

I was out cruising around the garden with my camera and came upon the Cordy cuttings I took a few weeks ago. There's a sprout on one piece, and all the ones with leaves on the ends look like they're rooting too. The two in the green basket are still firm and the curved piece has roots, too!

Aggghhh, I stuck several cuttings late March and only one, Waihee Rainbow had started to leaf out. This morning I saw where the rabbits had a feast on those leaves last night. There are no leaves at all now, just tiny pieces of petiole. I am still waiting for Princess Leisha and Bangkok Gold to awaken. I think they are still viable but they were not fresh cuttings when they arrived, they were pretty dry. There are roots, just no leaves - yet. I had stuck these in a well draining potting mix and kept them moist and warm on seedling heat mat. Next time I'll got back to water rooting.

Ugh....sorry about the chomping bunnies. I'm having same problem but with Lubber grasshoppers, they are destroying my plants, they got my Peppermint Swirl pretty good, all the new leaves are a mess.

Oh no, I had not seen mine unfurl yet so the loss was far less than yours. That Peppermint Swirl was a beauty.
