I don't have one yet... so excuse my absence lol. I just can't give the bonus plants any space...

Several bulbs I purchased from Ocean State Job Lot! Only half of them grew, and some didn't even flower. They must have been stored incorrectly for a while. Trying a more reputable place this fall!

Rolling on the floor laughing Ginny! It's nice that your daughters take it so well. That is a nice little sitting area you have there. Is that a little village or fairy garden off to the left of Holly in that last picture?

Thank You! The sitting area is all around the firepit and yes I started a fairy garden this Spring to the left of the dog (just added some more this weekend nodding nodding ). I posted more pictures of all the gardens at The thread "I Moved And Started All Over With My Garden - Progression!" in Garden Photos forum and it shows the fairy garden. It was a perfect weekend for working outside and planting!! Hurray! Hurray!

Ginny - I can relate. Most of my friends are shoppers, too. I hate shopping .... unless it's for plants! Gardening is terrific therapy! Thumbs up

Was on a co-op about 5 years ago. Bought about 100.00, might of been more, and they all came in a box about the size of a shoe box. Crying Still waiting for some of those to bloom. A well thought of person too, blocked from my viewing with the new features on here. Hurray! Live and learn!

I saw the icon for 'report this post', but didn't know there was also a blocking feature. Found it in my settings, but don't have a need for it, at least not now.

Ginny,
I love your birdbath/dog water dish. Smiling Also your fire pit. Makes me remind myself of a promise to only spend money on garden "art" next year and NOT buy any more daylilies (no room for anymore). But every late winter/early spring I get "cabin fever" here in Wisconsin and start to JUST LOOK at daylily sites. Darned if I don't order more Blinking . I MUST stop doing that.

Im excited for the moment. One of the pants I wanted so bad...Mighty Moth, and I lost, I finally went to pull up the last couple grass like fans. When I tugged on them, before I caught it, they broke off, but there was great resistance. For the heck of it, I put the hose down there and let the water move the dirt, which was way to packed for daylilies. Darned if that daylily had not pulled itself WAY down in the pot, and I pulled out a decent clump of roots. I of cours broke the fans, but the crowns are fine and I think Crossing Fingers! I might have my moth back. Big Grin

Believe it or not we do put out plenty of water for the dog OTHER than the bird bath nodding nodding nodding I've already started my "cabin fever" mode since my daylilies have almost stopped for the summer Whistling Whistling Whistling Hilarious! That would be wonderful to get a thought lost plant back!

Maurice brought back memories of a regrettable daylily purchase when he mentioned In His Image. It died here too. After requesting a replacement ( I had asked if it was hardy before ordering) and being told they would ship in spring, which became ship in fall, then spring again came and went, I asked for my money back. The check did arrive Smiling The image of In His Image was amazing, even made the cover of the Daylily Journal, a pattern ahead of the times...to bad it never lived up to expectations.

Ginny, I love your GK garden. So inviting.

Char, I HATE it when I give in and buy a new, expensive intro and it doesn't live up to the pic and/or description. Grumbling Grumbling
